The
McGregor Clinic’s strategic plan garnered national attention, with other HIV/AIDS clinics facing similar financial challenges looking to it as a model. The plan was finalized in October 1998, and in November 1999, McGregor Clinic officially became a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
Initially, the clinic provided HIV/AIDS primary care and had an onsite laboratory. Over time, it has expanded its services to include case management (through the Ryan White and PAC programs), participation in clinical drug trials, confidential HIV counseling and testing, patient education, a food pantry, and a clothes closet. The clinic is proud to offer culturally competent care, with a diverse staff fluent in English, Spanish, and Haitian Creole, ensuring that it reflects and meets the needs of the community it serves.
